It’s a busy summer here at Soundings and we are now looking for some fantastic new people to join our diverse team. If you are a committed and creative individual with experience in or passion for community engagement in regeneration and placemaking, please get in touch. Community Consultation and Engagement Manager:

Soundings are looking to recruit a public engagement consultant with 3-5 years experience in this field. Good graphic, written and oral communications skills are essential and experience at devising and implementing creative engagement techniques a requirement combined with an understanding of the role of consultation and engagement in community planning. Knowledge of planning, urban design and/or architecture is an advantage and a desire to build a shared agenda for change, crucial.

This is a unique opportunity to lead teams making genuine contributions to large-scale regeneration and strategic projects for London. Consultation processes generally involve extensive community outreach and mapping, developing creative techniques for people to participate in the design and development process in a meaningful way and ensuring high quality communications and feedback loops are maintained – including the use of websites and social media.
